I love this. I've seen a few of these (big fan of Beigels Already). A couple that are on iPlayer that I'd really recommend if you're in the market for any more are:
Inside Story - Fish Tales (about Billingsgate Market, 1999)
Thank you for reading! Defo in the market for more and yeah iPlayer's a real goldmine for this stuff. Love the 80s and 90s ones particularly. Funnily enough someone else recommended me Just Another Day on Soho recently – and Fish Tales looks brilliant too, thanks so much!
Yeah I can’t get enough of 80s and 90s London footage! Fish Tales is well worth it just for Roger, but there’s a brief but tantalising glimpse of late 90s Borough Market too.
Thank you for doing all the hard work and finding us these pearls. I’ve just finished a year of study and am wondering how to fill the time constructively other than reading. Now I know.

Thanks for the recommendations - I will check those out.
Nunhead Elvis is my king!! I hadn’t seen this film about our local legend, Aaron. This is an excellent list, thanks so much for sharing.
Ah wonderful – thanks for reading!
Came across this fascinating early Ken Russell documentary about a house in Bayswater a few months ago, well worth watching if you've not already seen it: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00rzvq2/a-house-in-bayswater
Oh amazing thank you so much Natalie. I hadn’t heard of it - looks brilliant, def going on the list!
